I clicked on the website ... nice man and killed by the drug cartel...
I tell you traveling along the border in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas is a bit daunting... I got stopped many times by the border patrol... I mean there were blockades set up all along the way and inspection stations.
A couple really freaked me out... I thought they were going to climb in Homer... the dogs sniffing and such... they can't take any chances f'sure. sad
Yes, I was stopped or waved through by the border patrol on several different occasions. When I saw that Visitor Center, his Ranger hat, the feather tied to the cactus, it was emotional. Thankfully, it was quiet while I was there. I did see illegal activity at Big Bend, and I came away with the impression that it goes on every day. That did not sit well with me at all, that as a citizen we can not go to our own National Parks without witnessing such activity.
yep ... I saw quite a few memorials to young men - soldiers too... too sad
I absolutely refuse to let the bad guys win. I use caution always ... I don't take chances but it just chaps my ass that the bad guys keep us from being as free as we should be...
